I took it apart quite easily and surprisingly, this lens feels really well constructed and is easy to service.
The next few images show of the lens being off centered, due to the elements not put in place properly…an easy fix!

Even though it is decentered, we can see that the center sharpness is still good!

A night scene with the elements properly aligned. The corners are less sharp but only slightly. The lens gives nice little stars from bright sources of light at small apertures f/11 onward.

Out of focus areas of the image are rendered somewhat smoothly, not too bad for a lens of this age!

Really satisfied with this lens. This is a 100% crop just to see the sharpness of this beast!
Focusing is smooth and the lens feels real solid in the hands. If you have the chance, try this lens out!
